FAQs — Nano Rings
Installation & Maintenance
Q: Can I cut Nano Rings?
No — each strand is pre-tipped and cannot be cut. Trimming should be done after fitting to shape the final style, but the tip itself must remain intact.
Q: How are Nano Rings installed?
Each strand is applied using a small metal nano ring or silicone-lined bead. The strand is looped through the ring and secured gently near the root — no heat or glue required. Placement should be done by a trained stylist to avoid tension and slippage.
Q: Are Nano Rings suitable for beginners?
Not recommended. This method requires clean sectioning, secure placement, and bead matching to avoid visibility or scalp irritation.
Q: Can I choose which type of nano bead to use?
Yes — you can use silicone-lined, copper, or aluminium rings depending on your preference. Please let us know in the checkout notes if you have a preferred fitting method or bead type.
Q: Can I reuse Nano Rings?
Yes — with proper removal and re-beading, the hair can be reused several times. Make sure to use fresh rings and apply correct aftercare between fittings.
Colouring & Styling
Q: Can Nano Rings be coloured or toned?
Yes — they can be coloured or toned by a professional. Always strand test first. The tip area should be avoided when applying strong chemical treatments.
Q: Can I use heat tools on Nano Rings?
Yes — the hair is heat-safe up to 180°C. Always use a heat protectant and avoid direct heat near the nano bead itself to prevent loosening.
